Cousin Corona (ver 2) Tab

Band - Yuck
Song - Cousin corona

Tabbed by daleks3k

This may not be 100% correct, but it's pretty damn close from what I can tell, it's also
my first tab, so it may not be written too well,
but I think it's easy enough to figure out, it isn't a hard song. I also made notes to
help you along the way, I suggest you read them! :D

The intro is played on a bass, but here is anyway.
it's just the notes, you can figure out the rhythm I'm sure.

e|--------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------|
A|------4----------4-7h9p7--------------------------|
E|--5-2---0----5-2----------------------------------|

After that is played a few times, the guitar has some sustained notes which is just bent
around with a whammy bar.
I don't have one so I just muck around with a wah pedal on these notes

e|----12---------|
B|----12---------|
G|---------------|
D|---------------|
A|---------------|
E|---------------|

Then the next part, where the distorted guitar comes in goes like this, it's where the
lyrics start "No I don't need a ..."

e|----------------------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------------------|
G|--9b11--11--9b11r9--7--6----------------------------------|
D|--------------------------7~~------7--9--9b10r9--7--------|
A|-------------------------------7h9------------------9-----|
E|----------------------------------------------------------|

e|----------|
B|----------|
G|-----6--9-|
D|--7-------|
A|----------|
E|----------|

then repeat the first part with this on the end

e|-------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------|
G|-------------------------7/----|
D|--------------------7----7/----|
A|--9-9-7-7-7~~---7h9---9--------|
E|-------------------------------|

Then repeat the intro basically, and then the distorted guitar comes in again, playing
the same thing as above,
but then goes on to another part where the lyrics start "I wanna go out on the weekend..."

e|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------9-9b11r9----------------------9-9b11r9----------------------------|
D|-----11----------11----9-11~~------11----------11----9--11--9h11p9--------|
A|--12----------------12----------12----------------12---------------12--9--|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|

that is the gist of that part, sometimes the bend on the G string changes, and sometimes
another little part is added in after, like this

e|-----------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------|
G|--------9-11b13-9------------------------|
D|-----11-----------11----9-11----11b12r11-|
A|--12-----------------12-------9----------|
E|-----------------------------------------|

With a bit of listening you can figure out where they are.
The final time this is played, it ends on the 11th fret and climbs to the 17th like this.

e|-------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------|
G|--------9-9b11r9---------------------|
D|-----11----------11----9--11--9h11p9-|
A|--12----------------12---------------|
E|-------------------------------------|

e|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---12--11--11-11---12--12-12---14---16-16---17-17---16-16--17--16~~-|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------|

Now we have the solo. it isn't too hard, it's mostly just strumming so this will be more
like a guide to the solo,
the amount of notes may be different in my tab to what is in the song, but I'm sure you
can figure that out yourself.
I wasn't too sure how to write this, but in the first line of tab, it's a bend on 11 to
13, you hold the bend and strum
it a few times, then release. Hopefully you can understand that.

e|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--11b13-13-13-13-13r11-9-11b13r11-9-----11b13-13-13-13-13r11-9-11---|
D|------------------------------------11------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------|

e|----------------------------------------------------------|
B|--12b14--12b14r12--10-9-----------------------------------|
G|------------------------9-----------------------11b13~~~--|
D|--------------------------9-9-9-11-11-9h11p9--------------|
A|---------------------------------------------11-----------|
E|----------------------------------------------------------|

Then there are some chords like this. I wont tab all the individual strums, to save
space, but it's only two chords....

on the last 11 you can do a little bend, I think it's in the song but I'm not 100% sure
             x
             9

e|----------------------|
B|----------------------|
G|--9-9-9-9/11-11-11----|
D|--x-x-x-x/x--x--x-----|
A|--7-7-7-7/9--9--9-----|
E|----------------------|

Finally, it goes into the part from before, the "I wanna go out on the weekend... " part

e|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------9-9b11r9----------------------9-9b11r9----------------------------|
D|-----11----------11----9-11~~------11----------11----9--11--9h11p9--------|
A|--12----------------12----------12----------------12---------------12--9--|
E|--------------------------------------------------------------------------|

and finishes with the little run we did just before the solo, but stopping on 17 instead
of 16

e|-------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------|
G|--------9-9b11r9---------------------|
D|-----11----------11----9--11--9h11p9-|
A|--12----------------12---------------|
E|-------------------------------------|

e|------------------------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------------------------|
G|------------------------------------------------------|
D|------------------------------------------------------|
A|--12--11--11-11---12--12-12---14---16-16---17-17-17~~-|
E|------------------------------------------------------|

That should be everything covered! Hopefully this was easy enough to understand and I
did't make any mistakes.
